Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint
The concept: Lip paint that ‘magically’ adapts to the PH level of your lips. This creates a shade that’s completely unique to the wearer and compliments any skin tone.
Shade range: 4 shades (‘Genie’ is green to pink, ‘Unicorn’ is yellow to light pink, ‘Angelic’ is pink to soft, neutral pink and ‘Cupid’ is clear to glittery baby pink).

The verdict:
Big up Barry M…
Apply first doesn’t seem to be doing anything - comes out not green but like a clear balm. Keep applying. Starts to turn more pink, gets deeper and deeper pink over the course of 4 mins.
Very vibrant look. Not for the natural girlies
Apply with gloss after for a dramatic glossy look
Stays put, you can rub lips and very little transfer
Amazing value
The shade doesn’t look much different on different people. If you rub the lipstick off on the cotton pad it’s the exactly the same shade.
The shade looks different because people have different lip colours anyway. Not that personalised?

Wonderskin’s Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masque
The concept: A high-tech vegan formula hyper-stains lips for colour that just won’t budge. Lasts all-day, transfer-proof, waterproof — while keeping lips soft and hydrated.
Shade range: 18 shades (at last count) — these range from burgundy red to bubblegum pink and coral. More notes on shade range in my verdict.
Complimentary products: Lip scrub for prep and a top gloss to give your lips a high-shine (but non-sticky) finish. Also lip rehab serum oil for extra hydration.

The verdict:
Puts the stain, in lip stain.
Contour with different shades

If you want long wear opt for the deeper shades
Apply more product if you want a more noticable look
It lasts all day
Very natural looking shades
Texture is flat, no different to usual lips so you may want to apply balm after
You have to be very accurate and careful with the application as it will stain and be hard to get off - don’t use for the first time before a big event/ job interview.
You need to apply the product evenly - try not to go back and retouch areas as it will dry at different times/potentially look blotchy when you remove the product.
Leave for a bit longer than one min if you want more of a stain
You can over line the lips to get a plumped/faux Botox look, but this requires a very delicate touch. The doe foot applicator is on the large side so it’s hard to get a really precise line - as you would with a pencil lip liner. Maybe apply lip liner before as a guide.
If you have pale lips, be very careful around the edges especially the cupids bow as you could look like a doll.
Feels tingly/irritating when you apply.
Take it off with a damp cloth / cotton wool
Use as blush as well
To remove WONDER BLADING from lips, use an oil-based face cleanser or an oil-based makeup remover that takes off waterproof cosmetics.
